Morrow House, located on the Smith College quad, is a stately building with many beautifully architectural details. This January-term renovation aimed to recapture the elegance of the original architecture while using durable materials to provide a functional space for 21st-century food service. A new patterned linoleum floor was installed. A subtle paint scheme highlights the intricacy of the ceiling; new wallcovering and window treatments provide a sense of history. Decorative architectural detail original to the fireplace was restored as were antique mirrors.
